Flashback Prince Nymph
This Flashback Red Shouldered Prince Nymph is one of Rod’s favorite nymphs early in the season and late in the season. It can be tied using a size 6, 8, or 10 hook, and is a very good performer in the shallow fast runs and in small streams. It can be fished under an indicator, or under a full sink line or sink tip. You can swing the fly or dead drift it. This flashy fly catches the trout’s attention from a long distance, so they just have to come check it out and have a taste.

About the Tyer
Rod Zavaduk is the owner/operator of Castlegar Sports Centre and Fly Shop; a retail fly fishing outlet and guide service. He began fishing the Columbia River in the late 70s and has been a licensed guide for over 25 years. Rod has studied entomology for 40 plus years and is an expert in the local hatches and insect life cycles.
