Champion Lakes Golf & Country Club

Champion Lakes Golf & Country Club near Fruitvale offers a 9-hole golf course suitable for all skill levels. The course winds through picturesque landscapes and features views of the surrounding mountains with three ponds in the centre that are replicas of the much large Champion Lakes. The course is known for its long fairways, water hazards and tactically placed sand traps to test your skills.
Tee It Up Virtual Golf

Tee It Up Virtual Golf offers two simulators that each hold up to four people. Take a lesson from a certified instructor to sharpen your game, or play a full round with friends. A full round takes about an hour per person, and the simulators are rented by the hour. For the young and young at heart there are virtual games like a wild west shooting, baseball, hockey, mini golf, and others. If you are traveling light, Tee It Up also rent golf clubs and they are licenced establishment.
RED Mountain Resort

RED Mountain Resort is an outdoor adventure playground. In summer it is known for amazing festivals, events, and hiking and mountain biking trails. In winter it becomes a ski and snowboard mecca with an average 300 inches of annual snowfall. Red boasts a massive 3,850 acres of terrain with 5 skiable peaks and nearly 3,000 feet of vertical. You can hop on the Mt. Kirkup Cat to access another 200 acres and 1,600 vertical feet of open runs, tree-skiing, and rolling advanced terrain.
The Trail Smoke Eaters

The Trail Smoke Eaters represent Junior A Hockey at it’s finest. Join 1,500 fans as they cheer on their hometown Smokies 26 times a year plus the playoffs. It’s not just about hockey – it’s about community pride. Most games are played from September to March, and the playoffs can go into April. The Trail Smoke Eaters are an integral part of the city’s sports heritage, and the Smokies work hard to contribute to Trail and area through volunteer work, community initiatives, and monetary and other donations.
Glenmerry Bowl

Glenmerry Bowl is a family bowling center with outdoor mini golf, cocktail lounge and pizza, nachos, hot dogs, and other tasty treats. They offer public and league bowling, and supply everything but the cake for birthday parties. Rent a lane by the hour, or the entire facility for a corporate party. Reservations are strongly recommended.
The Trail Aquatic and Leisure Centre

The Trail Aquatic and Leisure Centre is the largest aquatic centre and multi-sport facility in the South and West Kootenay. After a great day on the river relax in the steam room, or soak in the hot tub. This award winning facility has a 25 metre main pool with 8-lanes, leisure pools, waterslide and water features, diving boards, and fully equipped fitness centre.
Warfield Centennial Pool

Warfield Centennial Pool is an outdoor community pool generally open from June until the end of August. Relax and suntan on the deck chairs, or take a dip in the 25-metre long “L-shaped” pool. The pool also has a 9.5 foot deep “diving tank” and a spray park with two water slides.
Rossland Municipal Pool

Rossland Municipal Pool is an outdoor community pool open from June until the end of August. The pools offers public swimming, lap swimming, lessons, and programs for all ages. The pool was originally constructed in 1932, and is now recognized as a heritage site in the heart of downtown Rossland.
The Bocce Facility

The Bocce Facility offers three covered courts in the heart of Trail’s historic “Gulch” for rain or shine lawn bowling. This wheelchair accessible facility has public washrooms, picnic tables, and a playground for youth. Bocce is fun activity for family gatherings or tournaments, but you must book the facility in advance.
