Trail Silver City Days
Trail Silver City Days is a highly anticipated annual festival held in May of each year to celebrate the city’s rich history and silver mining heritage. There is a wide range of activities and entertainment for residents and visitors alike including a parade, live entertainment, midway amusement rides, riverfront food fair, arts and crafts exhibitions, fireworks display, and various contests and competitions. Silver City Days is a very popular community-oriented event that brings people together to celebrate Trail’s past and present.
The IncrEDIBLE Farmers Market

The IncrEDIBLE Farmers Market is a poplar event where locals and visitors alike gather on the Trail Esplanade to purchase fresh produce, baked good, locally made crafts, and food and beverages. Some markets feature live entertainment, and throughout the year there are specialty markets that may be held in alternative locations around town.
Smoke ‘n Steel

Smoke ‘n Steel is a popular car show held every Father’s Day Weekend in June that celebrates beautifully restored classic cars, hot rods, super cars, rat rods, kit cars, muscle cars, motorcycles, and more. Hosted by the West Kootenay Smoke ‘n Steel Auto Club, the show offers attendees an opportunity to engage with the owners to learn about the vehicle, it’s history, modifications and more. Participants compete for over 40 hand-crafted trophies for the best in class, while attendees enjoy fantastic automotive eye-candy, great food vendors, music, ice cold beverages and more.
Beaver Valley May Days

Beaver Valley May Days is a community event in Fruitvale that celebrates the arrival of spring and provides a fun filled weekend to thank the community for supporting volunteer organizations. Events often include a parade, live entertainment, food vendors, local business and organizations booths, arts and crafts, sporting events, events for kids of all ages, and much more.
Rossland Winter Carnival

The Rossland Winter Carnival has a rich history that dates back to 1898, making it one of the oldest winter carnivals in North America. The carnival is a celebration of winter and community spirit that typically takes place in late January or early February. There are events and activities for all ages, from early morning pancake breakfast to the evening parade and various music venues about town. You will find snow and ice sculptures, tobogganing, artisan vendors, luge racing, curling, and many other sports, activities and events as you celebrate winter in Rossland – vCanada’s Alpine City.
Rossland Golden City Days

Rossland Golden City Days is a celebration of the city’s mining heritage and culture held in early September. Rossland was known as the “Golden City” due to the extensive gold mining operations in late 19th and early 20th centuries. The activities and events often include a parade, live music, outhouse races, arts and crafts exhibitions, historical reenactments, food vendors, kids activities, and various other community gatherings.
