Dark Partridge Caddis
At certain times of the year in the mornings and late at night there is a dark chocolate brown caddis fly hatch. These flies are smaller than the typical net-spinning mottled caddis, so this pattern was created to imitate this particular hatch. Because it is small and dark, this floating pattern still works well for most seasons. This is the fly Rod turns to when the trout are finicky.
